Name: WriteReader
My startup in a nutshell:
WriteReader enables children (3-10Y) to become authors and publish their digital books while learning to read and write. WriteReader is scientifically based and increases literacy skills in only 6 weeks.

Our founding story:
For more than 200 years, we have taught our children how to write and read in the same way. Still, every fifth child today is functionally illiterate. Being both parents and passionate teachers, this made us think: Okay, if children can’t learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn. And by creating WriteReader, we have done just that.
How my business idea changes the content industry:
WriteReader can enable the content industry to ensure that the next generation of readers and writers are equipped with the right motivation and interest for literacy. WriteReader can enable any content business to offer WriteReader in their own brand and thereby reach more parents, educators and children.
This is where I see us in the future:
We want to reach as many children as possible worldwide, and in order to do that, we need to partner up with relevant stakeholders from the content industry. We hope that WriteReader can be established in more than 10 European countries in the next 5 years through publishers and content stakeholders.
